Contest: Where in Arizona am I?
I know there's a lot of people who know Arizona's trails like the back of their hands and this is an opportunity to show your stuff. I will be posting pictures of places I've been and you need to tell me where I'm at. The first member who correctly names the location will win some cool stuff. Some of the places won't be all too hard, while others will take a keen eye and local knowledge.
Here's the contest rules and details:
-
Contest open to members only (need to subscribe to Experience Arizona). This is just one of the benefits to becoming a member. Membership is free. Click here to become an Experience Arizona member.
-
Family, friends and those who have joined me on the specific adventure the photo shows are not eligible. Come on, that's cheating.
-
You may win only once per year.
-
The first correct answer, which may be an explanation of the location, GPS coordinates or anything else deemed enough to accurately describe the location. Just saying Grand Canyon won't cut it.
-
I am the sole judge of the winner. It's great to be king!
Good luck and enjoy!
Where in Arizona am I? January, 2013 Contest
January 7, 2013: We have a winner in the January Where in Arizona Am I? Contest. I was in the Copper Creek district (which was close enough for me to declare a winner). Though I am still keeping the guessing open. Yes, it was in the Copper Creek area, but it wasn’t at the townsite of Copper Creek. Any other specific guesses now that you know where to look?
What better way to start off 2013 than a new Where in Arizona Am I? contest! I'm not going to give you any hints on where this picture was taken, but the 'stache should give you an idea of when.
